These are our requirement for all dogs being groomed here at Ruff Cuts. At your first visit you will be required to sign the grooming agreement.

Grooming Agreement

Ruff Cuts will do whatever is appropriate for the well being of your dog, However, if the services of a veterinarian are required the owner extends permission for treatment.

In the event of severe matted/tangled/knotted hair your dog will be shaved down. If the dog has minimal matting the dog will be brushed out for an extra fee.

Ruff Cuts will not be held liable for whatever is uncovered on a badly neglected coat, or irritation caused by shaving short due to the matting or lack of grooming. Regular grooming should be done every 2 months and maintained at home between visits to us. Owners can pre-book their dog's next appointment with-in 8 weeks, prior to leaving the studio and they will receive a discount upon their dogs next grooming.

Ruff Cuts will charge extra fees for dogs coming in beyond two months time period to cover the cost of resharpening blades and equipment

In the event you can not make your appointment we ask that you call us 48 hours in advance. In the event you do not call or "No Show", full grooming price will be charged for the missed appointment and all future appointments must be prepaid. We do not do reminder calls. You will be given a next appointment card prior to leaving our studio.

Please let us know if your dog is required to stay all day at Ruff Cuts when you set the appointment up. We book dogs every hour and we Close when the last appointment is finished. Owners must pick up their dogs within 30 minutes of our call or Day Care fee of $40.00 will be charged.

Please be on time for your appointment. If you are late, a late fee will be charged or your dog may be rescheduled if we can not work the dog in between other appointments.

Ruff Cuts must be informed if your dog has bitten, or is aggressive. We reserve the right to refuse any dog who is deemed uncontrollable or vicious. A fee may be charged accordingly to any work preformed.

All dogs are required to be vaccinated with-in 3 years and must show proof from veterinarian of vaccinations to us. ( not tags ) Without proof the dog(s) will not be groomed.

Do not feed your dog prior to grooming and make sure your dog has relieved itself prior to grooming. Please respect our studio and the neighbors when bringing your dog to our studio. Stoop and Scoop is the law, please bring bags.

All Dogs must be collared and leashed when coming into the studio.

Ruff Cuts accepts Cash, Visa, Mastercard and Interac. We do not accept bills over $50.00 or checks.

Ruff Cuts will from time to time take pictures of your dog and use them on the website or for advertising purposes. If you would like a copy of the picture please list your email below and you will also receive discounts emails from time to time.

By the signing of this contract you agree to all the terms and conditions set out above. A signed copy ot this agreement will be given to you and one will be kept on file with us.
